I thank you for your forbearance during the month of August as there may not always be somebody immediately available to respond to telephone calls, emails, or general enquiries, as both myself and Breege will be taking some time away during this period for holidays. I will be away on holiday from Saturday 3rd August until Sunday 18th August inclusive. I can now confirm that Fr Joseph o’Hanlon will be covering the Masses at the moment. I will then be back for a short period as I’m scheduled to visit Ireland on 23rd August until Wednesday 4th September, visiting the priests who have retired there, as part of my Sick and Retired Priests responsibilities. In the case of an emergency and you need a priest, please contact Fr Philip Ziomek at the Good Shepherd on 0115 9268288 and he will endeavour to answer your call as soon as he is available. All general enquiries will be responded to as soon as it is practicable to do so. During this month of August, when many of us will be planning a summer break away, I pray that you will enjoy a time of relaxation and rest. Please be assured of my prayers for you all during the summer. Fr John
