DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
The Diary of Saint Faustina calls us to a new form of devotion in various ways. One is through the celebration of Divine Mercy
Sunday. Jesus told Saint Faustina that He desired an annual solemn Feast of Mercy. This Solemnity of Divine Mercy was established as a universal celebration on the eighth day of the Octave of Easter. On that day the floodgates of Mercy are opened and many souls are made holy.
Feast of Divine Mercy
will be held at Our Lady’s Church, Brooklyn Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 9ES
on Sunday 24th April starting at 2.30pm until 3.30pm.
Guest speaker – Rev David Palmer
Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available
Quote from Sister Faustina’s Diary— “I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who
trust in My Mercy. Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My Mercy. My desire is
that the Feast will be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter.”
Does the Divine Mercy Service on 24/4/22 include mass, or is it purely a prayer service with the Sacrament of Reconciliation available?
Thank-you
Good morning Helen,
The Divine Mercy Service is purely a prayer service with the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
God bless.
