Hi, my Name is Martyn Swaby and I am the permanent Deacon here at Our Lady’s Parish. I also work full time as a Mental Health chaplain employed by the NHS. My aim is to support, as best I can, my parish priest and all our parishioners in both their spiritual and human needs.

Sacristy

The role of the sacristan is to ensure the availability and safe-keeping of vestments, altar linen, vessels and other requirements (eg hosts, wine etc) for use in the celebration of the liturgy. The role also entails preparing the sanctuary for such celebrations and tidying afterwards.
